The date of the wedding is Saturday 14 July 2007 at 12.30 p.m. at the Iglesia de San Miguel followed by a reception at the Palacio Castillo de Gorraiz.

The Iglesia de San Miguel is a church in the Centre of Pamplona on Calle Francisco Bergamin 17, looking onto the Plaza de La Cruz (see Hotels section for a map). The Castillo de Gorraiz is on the Senorio de Gorraiz estate in the Valley of Egues, 4km from the centre of Pamplona.

There will be buses outside the church after the service to take everyone to Gorraiz for the reception and back into Pamplona afterwards.

July 14th coincides with the very last day of Sanfermines called "Pobre De Mi" where there is a special candlelit ceremony after the daily fireworks to close the festival. We intend to come back into Pamplona after the reception to join in with these celebrations (and into the night...)

The food (la comida) is one of the highlights of Navarra and whilst you'll get a taste at the reception lunch, we hope you have the chance to try more local specialities during your visit.

The best way is to eat "Pintxos" (pronounced pinchoss). That's the local way of saying tapas and known to show the high quality of Basque cuisine.

They're available in any bar around town, beautifully laid out on the bar and once you get going, it's hard to stop !

Navarra has seen the IX semana del Pintxo 07 on 10-18 March. The Hotel Maisonnave's kitchen hosted the final and here are the winners:
